Job Description & Qualifications
Supports the day-to-day administration and execution of compensation programs. Inputs, audits, and maintains compensation data in various human resources systems.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
Reviews and maintains compensation information, including ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Tracks and maintains various one-time payments and submits payments for processing.
Participates in various compliance, government, and ad hoc compensation surveys.
Responds to compensation requests using established guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Audits associate and compensation data in various systems and submits data corrections as needed.
Assists with creating, editing, and updating job details and descriptions in human resources systems.
Performs other clerical duties as assigned.
Nature and Scope
Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.
Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
No travel required.
Education and Experience
HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications & Job Specific Details
2+ years of experience in a compensation or entry-level human resources position.
Experience with Workday or CompAnalyst.
